In August of this year my primary care physician referred me to this practice & I was given an appointment for Feb. 2026. I walked into the office in Sept. & asked to be put on a call list. I was informed by receptionist that I could be seen on Oct. 17 , 2025. Unfortunately , I was hospitalized on Oct. 17 & appoint. had to be canceled. Booking an appointment here was made difficult by the first person I spoke to. I've had persistent, ongoing issues since 2023, and the next step was Neurology. I went to the site in Farmville first to establish care, book the MRIs I needed in Lynchburg, and follow up with doctors in Lynchburg. This was the plan that had been established since November-December 2024. The woman who answered the phone was rude from the start. I’ve been going there for 20 years now … I’ve had the best doctors , staff (love Gay) … it’s nothing at all I can ever say bad about centra medical group neurology….. Dr. Joseph was my very 1st doctor (he was absolutely amazing) , after he retired I had amazing Dr. K and now I have Dr. Waddell …. I’m so blessed to have such amazing doctors ….
