My Fiancée had a surge of stomach pain, could not even lift herself up because of the pain. I rushed her to the ER afraid for her life as I was scared she had appendicitis and her appendix was going to rupture. A life threatening emergancy. Predatory billing. Had a suspected miscarriage at 8 weeks and went in to ER for an ultrasound. Had blood test, urine sample. Waited over two hours for an ultrasound. The ultrasound tech couldn’t tell me anything, only the doctor. Went back to waiting room for 3 1/2 hours. Passed the baby while sitting in the waiting room during that time. Finally met with doctor who confirmed the miscarriage and sent me home. Got bill in the mail for $3,200.
