Eastside Family was my PCP for a long time. I had no idea that they had sold out to Centerwell until I showed up for an appointment one day and they said "Sorry, you don't go here any more. We only treat senior citizens. You'll get a letter about it soon." Never got that letter.

This practice switched from Eastside Family Medicine, a practice which saw everyone, to CenterWell, who only sees senior citizens. Long time patients were kicked to the curb. Worse yet, they are now billing old Eastside claims as CenterWell - a practice many are no longer eligible for - and therefore not in network. This is causing billing problems.

I have been a patient at Eastside for many years. They recent changed to Centerwell - a faceless, evil corporation that seems to be focusing only on churning out money. This location is convenient to work and home. The staff has been absolutely excellent to my needs for years. I will miss visiting Eastside. I was notified that they were switching to primary senior care, but would continue to see current patients. They would not be accepting any new patients. Aweful service.If I can give 0 I would. Since this practice has been sold to Centerwell it become unbearable to set up appointment and service. August 19 , husband visit there because of infection and pain. The Dr forget to send his pain meds to the pharmacy I called 4 times to have the office send 4 times and no one send his prescription until the next day. He was on pain the whole night. August 21 called the oncall for guidance for his meds. 24 hrs later no one called back. August 26 called to set up follow up since he sti... read more
