Even though I was not a patient, my brief visit to Centerpointe triggered my PTSD within minutes due to the staff’s complete disregard for ADA service animal law. My trained PTSD service dog was initially denied entry, then I was isolated in an empty room for most of the visit after asserting my rights. I was last here in February 2024. The staff was very nice to me. I do feel I was put on too many new medications at once. The building itself is so out of date. None of the showers in patients' rooms work, so you have to shower in the hall which both males and females use. However, right now the biggest complaint I have is their billing office. I had a very bad experience at this hospital.
I had the best experience here. This is my first time in any mental hospital. The staff were really friendly and helped me out so much. 10/10 recommend
