These people are the absolute best-friendliest psych ward around! They helped me get my head right. I cant put into words how amazing their staff is here! No jokes, im being sincere. I will never forget my experiences here. They made me deeply consider switching career fields to a psych role and one day i hope to! They set some high standards that i could only hope to achieve if i went into a psychological field. They care so much about their patients. And they have all the patience in the world! If I could give less than one star, I would. I suffer from seizures, the staff treated me as if I were faking it. They did not provide the proper codes, nor did they turn me on my side when I had an episode. They left me alone to smack my head on the ground numerous times, in addition to smacking my face into the phone which caused me to nearly bite through my bottom lip. This facility is a joke and needs to be investigated.
Place should be shut down.
DO NOT SEND YOUR CHID HERE!!! They will not communicate what's happening with your child. They will change meds with out parental concent. They will not return phone calls, the staff is rude and will hang up on you. My child was assaulted by another patient and they did not contact us. They sleep deprive these kids and don't offer any actual help, they just drug them up. The entrance wasn't even locked my mother walked right in the door to drop off clothes on a non visitation day. So I went there to get help and get on medication. The last time I was here they put me on $2000 medication that didn’t even work. I thought they would be the best bet since MUPC was not at all a better choice. The first 4 days of me being there I wasn’t on medication, which is weird cause they knew that’s why I came there. Also there were people on medication that didn’t even want to take medication the same day they came in.
