Extremely rude receptionist.
I recently had a lot of work done to my ’08 Jeep JK. One of the many upgrades we made was installing a Centerforce high performance clutch. Post maintenance, the Jeep experienced a minor hum/vibration when the tach hit 3k. After ruling out the newly installed drive-shaft, the install shop suggested the clutch could be the cause of the vibration. Centerforce was contacted and immediately owned the issue. Terrible customer service. I am the owner of an offroad shop in Chattanooga, TN and have installed hundreds of clutches in my career and thousands of them with the combined experience of me and my staff. We installed a centerforce clutch kit; part number KCFT770751, in a JL Wrangler 3.6, which comes with a whole new clutch hydraulic system. The clutch would not fully disengage, it would drag just enough to make it difficult to get into gear, but once it was in gear it worked fine. our Customer was unhappy. I bought Centerforce clutch by seeing these reviews for my wrangler, but don't know my luck was not that good or the part is bad either way clutch didn't last more than 3 months. Called support they are asking me to ship the clutch back to manufacturer to validate the warranty. If I send the clutch to manufacturer, then I will be out with no car for weeks. I never heard this kind of warranty. Finally going back to Mopar. Please be aware of this warranty issue with Centerforce. I wouldn't trust them.
