I didn’t think it would be possible to look forward to something as typically unpleasant as a wound vac change, but the team that takes care of me at the center for wound healing are just that good. Their care is so professional, top quality, and they are so kind, empathetic, and truly concerned for the well being of their patients, that I genuinely look forward to my appointments with them every week. At first, the staff was very friendly. After 6 weeks, they said, "well, the ulcer is all gone, you don't need to come back". I am still in considerable pain, but apparently that's not their concern, they can call it a win and the heck with the pain.
These lovely caring people. They guided me through awful pain, an infection, and a terrible outlook. Peggy and Heather saw me at my absolute worst and cheered me on to healing. They are beyond magical. I’m so happy to say that I’m healed and very happy that I got to ring the bell!
Been going to wound care here at lakewood ranch since November of 2023,treating a wound from my surgery couldn't be any happier and pleased with the staff and my Dr Vivian Torres.They make you feel comfortable and take there time at every visit and answer any questions we might have. Would highly recommend lakewood ranch wound care and Venas vascular specialists.
Been going there since September. Was called today about 1/2 hour before my appointment today and told that my appointment was cancelled because they couldn’t get a referral. They seemed ok at first, the front desk person and the nurses are kind. Not happy with Heather Dunn. She sent me for unnecessary tests.
