I have been cared for at this facility since October. This is my second bout with a similar wound. Dr Nguyen is awesome, though very quiet. She prescribed iv antibiotics, wound vac and hyperbaric therapy. Last time it took nearly a year to heal with only antibiotics. This time at this point only 3 months it is nearly healed. I estimate maybe another month. Unfortunately for me, this fell on the new year and insurance starts over so I had to stop the hbt. The staff both at wound care and hbt was excellent. It was recommended by my doctor to go to this specific facility for my wound care after he removed all of my skin cancer, which was the size of an orange, and I am very glad I did! It was an hour drive each way to go to these appointments, I ended up needing a total of 5 visits however, the staff (Dona,Teresa, Mary, Kim, and Jessica) and Dr. Danish Siddiq, MD made the drive well worth it!! Advent wound care center s an amazing place with the most caring and professional staff and doctors anywhere in Florida. From the initial intake and over the months of care, they have been the most helpful in my recovery. The doctors consider surgery as only the last resort after all other attempts are made. They are the Best in Florida!
Super friendly! Love the attitudes of everyone there. Great place and they do a great job. Healed quickly.
