I had a good experience and felt heard. As long as a doctor is good at being a doctor bed side manner isn’t something I care about. I’m a very blunt to the point person. I think I found a doctor who matches my personality.
Dr. Lee pressured me into getting an iud after I had my first daughter. I reluctantly agreed. Felt awful for a couple of years-went back to get it taken out. It was painful they even used septocaine- he told me I was far to squirmy and that he’d need to out me under GA at McKenzie to pull it out vaginally because I was too much. Did he do an ultrasound? Never. I had Dr Doug Austin do a second opinion. He did an ultrasound right away showing the iud was inserted incorrectly into my abdomen. Had I gone through with him pulling... read more
I am unsure why there are so many bad reviews. Dr lee has delivered 4 of my 9 births and delivering my 10th baby in January. He has always been understanding, professional, respectful and non judgemental. I am high risk and he is definitley on it when it comes to being on top of things. With my last birth I had a bit of excessive bleeding and my blood pressure kept dropping and he stayed calm reassured me and made sure I was well cared for. Well, I just won’t be going back to him. I am high risk and despite telling him all that, I doubt he even listened once. I didn’t feel seen or heard and most of my symptoms were dismissed. For 9 weeks I got not even a single test nor medication and it ended in a miscarriage and some gaslighting. O and I have to add that this man kept sending me threatening messages through optum to come get a pap smear for “abnormal results from the last one” whatever that means.
