I delivered with these midwives at atrium in 2024. Great experience overall. They didn’t push me to have a certain kind of birth. Rachel delivered my baby and did a great job. The nurse Lisa has a hard bedside manner but I think she means well. The doctors and midwives were all excellent.
Doesn’t take Molina
The nurse at the natural beginnings birth center told me my history did not rule me out for the birth center and it would depend on the provider. The midwives here rejected me because I had gestational diabetes in my previous pregnancy and said "since I was still overweight, I would probably end up with it again anyways." I have been working my butt off losing 10 pounds since getting pregnant and watching my sugars and keeping them in range. Rebecca is amazing! She took the time to really listen to my concerns and explain everything. She was a giant help and comfort not only through the end of my pregnancy but my birth as well. The nurses were also wonderful. I’m definitely going to miss everyone now that my pregnancy is over. Would highly recommend.
Very rude and clearly do not care about their patients—Will not be returning
