Peloza is a scum bag Dr. who needs to be stopped. He rapes your insurance and only cares about his deep pockets. He has done nothing to me except make me feel worse and bill me. His tactics are suspect as he always has some kind of "breakthrough, new procedure" that he hits your insurance with so he can double down on money he gets from you. This past Friday, Jan 5, 2018, I went for my 1 year follow up from my Level 4 surgery. Both Dr John Peloza and Matt Chapman, PA, were so awesome through the entire process. Especially when they opened me up to find my anatomy was made of teeny-tiny pedicles. They were THE team to have in the OR to navigate the challenge of screw placement in pedicles smaller than a babies. Happy to report the fusion is a fantastic success on all 4 levels. I've had 4 cervical surgeries by Dr. Peloza and 2 were failures. BMP was used in 2003 rather than bone grafting which is the "gold standard" and it failed. I later collected $3,500 in a class action lawsuit against the manufacturer. Four years later a Prestige artificial disk was implanted at C4/5 and I hurt more than twice as bad for 20 months. When Peloza finally took me serious, we found the disc (made of titanium) was broke. To date, I have not received the report Dr. Peloza promised explaining why the disk broke. Medtro... read more
Peloza didn't earn national recognition over and over for no reason. Glad I was able to get in and get pragmatic advice to manage this neck pain.
