Be careful.My husband went for a routine eye exam to get glasses. The insurance said it was a zero copay. The Dr included a diagnosis of early stage cataracts in her notes. The billers jumped on that and a free eye exam cost $75 as that changed the dynamic of the claim, apparently..As a retired couple on a fixed income we could have done without the extra cost. Dr. Werner is so wonderful. She has been my family's Opthamologist for years. I wouldn't go to any other doctor to take care of our eye needs.
First the dr that was i recommended too wasn't in the office that day, so i got a different dr that had zero personality and didn't explain anything to me. I have been wearing contacts since i was 16, but I always like to ask about Lasik and if thats an option. After waiting in the office for over 2.5 hrs (declined dilating my eyes as i told them when i made the appt) but still had to wait 20 minutes . I got my scripts and left. I now get a bill for $60.00 and have called and left 4 messages NO callback and they NEVER answer... read more
Overall good, but they take their time when they are not super busy. I filled out all paperwork prior to my visit, they stated it will cut down the time. It took them 25 minutes to input information into their computer. The doctor was very sweet. Lady at the "check-out" not nice. She charged me 40$ for contacts fitting! 40$??? I have been wearing contacts for 17years!
I had a full eye examination and fitting for contact lenses with Dr. Werner and her staff yesterday. They were absolutely wonderful! Everyone there greeted me with warm smiles and a very friendly approach. I had visited another optometrist recently who was not able to fit appropriate contact lenses for my flat corneas secondary to multiple LASIK surgeries. He essentially gave up but barely even tried. Dr. Werner successfully fitted me with contacts in no time! You will not find a better eye doctor!
