We have had such a wonderful experience working with Courtney Young. My daughter just graduated from myotherapy and speech. We started in January. She is 7 (so pretty young for myo) her therapists were super amazing. My daughter had a tongue thrust, had never made an R sound until this summer. They really included me in the process, did a great job giving us clear info. The team at Orofacial Myology do a great job! I had a tongue tie release (Grade 3) that has made huge changes to my health, one of the best decisions I have ever made. My back and neck pain is significantly reduced and I can breath a lot easier when sleeping. If you are looking for a myology clinic in the Treasure Valley, I cannot recommend Orofacial Myology enough!
Everyone, from front desk, to Dr. Amylia, to Katrina and Claire, they’ve all been so helpful and knowledgeable and encouraging of my daughter’s journey so far! She was referred for a tongue tie, and had a lesser to spot tongue tie release and a lip release and they’ve all been so wonderful with their care. My 3-year-old daughter just completed the program to help her stop sucking her thumb, and I’m so happy we did it! She no longer sucks her thumb, and we couldn’t be more grateful. I really appreciated the accountability system, which kept us on track, and Miss Rian was wonderful at explaining to my daughter why it was important to stop. She made the process engaging and encouraging, which made a big difference. Overall, we had a great experience and truly appreciate the support we received!
