The time spent was transformative and helped me understand more about my own love walk with grief and how to better embrace and not hate her and the connections made are going to be lifelong with the women that shared space with me during our day.

I recently attended a workshop called “Grief, Trauma and the Nervous System,” which was led by Nola Metz Simpson. The event was held at Skypond, a beautiful setting in a cabin in the woods. A peaceful and safe space was created for participants in various stages of healing. Nola did an excellent job of addressing everyone’s needs and being fully present to all. Nola was a terrific facilitator for our group. We appreciated the space she held for our group. The material was covered with dignity and compassion. I would highly recommend the Center and its programs.

The workshop I attended was wonderful. The space, the learning, Nola, our facilitator, all came together to create a special uplifting experience. I told someone today that I had attended a grief workshop and he asked if that didn’t bring me down. The reality is that the sharing and the community of women created a healing, warm, supportive environment. I was apprehensive walking in and filled with warmth and gratitude walking out. If you are experiencing grief, and are open to it, I highly recommend.

I attended a Grief workshop with Nola. There were grievers of all types in attendance who were suffering from differing types of loss. Nola was an excellent facilitator and I met so many wonderful women who I hope to stay in touch with. It is amazing to find support from others who are sharing the commonality of grief. Thanks so much, Nola!
