When our previous Lab, Maxie was suffering from Laryngeal Paralysis, we took her to see Dr. Yamate. The Western Med vets said we would be lucky to have her through the summer. Two and a half years later, we had to put Maxie down. Dr. Yamate helped her not with just her Laryngeal Paralysis, but also with her arthritis and Hip dysplasia as well. The team is kind and caring. My only regret, we moved away, so our new dog, Ram won't get to experience the great care the team at Center for Integrative Animal Medicine can provide.
Dr. Yamato sees all our “complicated” pets - they’re old and they have issues! She’s incredible!! She and her team have provided complimentary treatments for arthritis, kidney disease, hyperthyroidism, heart conditions, tumors, allergies, etc etc - they’re always kind, compassionate, and up to date on the latest therapies available. She caught several health concerns early enough that it made a huge difference in outcome, too. My only regret is that we didn’t know about her sooner!
Dr. Yamate and the staff here are amazing souls dedicated to your pet's health and wellbeing and helping you to be the best pet parent.
Ok, folks, these people are wonderful. I now feel like we are doing so much better for our dogs! Dr Yamate and staff have educated us and made us better dog people. There is so much personal attention and care here. The doctor spends the time you've always wished a doctor would spend with you. All questions were answered and we left feeling ready and able to better care for our dogs.
We love Dr. Yamate and her staff. So knowledgeable, kind, and caring. Our Daisy loves them too. So glad we found them!
Dr. Yamate is a super vet, she has healed my westies with partial ruptures without surgery and has put me on track to keep them healthy. She embraces both "traditional" and "alternate" treatments, and is an expert in both. She is knowledgeable, funny, compassionate and is a really impressive pet medicine specialist that I recommend to all my friends with pets without hesitation.
Over the Top kindness toward my little dog Waldo in the last week of his life. Waldo, with his big bug eyes, was popular with lots of people. He was a dog with a sense of humor who loved visiting people, travel adventures, and eating. He left his body in total comfort and love, with the smell of deli turkey in his nose. Thanks to Dr. Yamate and staff for making my dog feel totally loved, cared for and appreciated.
