DO NOT GO HERE. Literally so much troubles for really no reason. First it was a problem with insurance that I fixed now it’s them refusing to schedule me for an ultrasound. I’ve been pregnant since the beginning of this year and haven’t been able to check on baby. Don’t know how far along, don’t even know if baby has a heartbeat. Debbie at the front desk isn’t any help, can’t answer any questions, can’t direct me where I need to go. I like the building and atmosphere. I was brand new to Toledo, struggling and having some random pelvic pain. I went to this location ( women service department) the staff were very uncaring to make it a good experience for me. By this I mean. Very rude tones jn the voice as if I interrupted their day,ignoring or downplaying my questions on where to go, how long.etc To be honest that didn't bother me, the doctor COLLEEN TRAUTWEIN was the my biggest concern. Treated poorly by most staff in the building, call for help a the nurse speaks over you and don’t let you state what is going on…. Ive had multiple complications throughout my entire pregnancy and no help was given what so ever!! I am switching OB’s so I don’t continue to get thrown around and I can get the correct help an comfort that is needed at this time, I do NOT recommend anyone to go to this place especially if you are a first time mother!!
I had a terrible experience at Central Health Women Center. They diagnosed me with a miscarriage just because they didn't hear a heartbeat, even though it's normal this early in pregnancy (6 weeks). I wasn't bleeding or cramping, but they assumed the worst because of my past miscarriage. My boyfriend and I were left crying for no reason. Later, we found out my HCG levels were fine and the baby was progressing perfectly. As a first-time parent, I expected more empathy. I'm definitely switching providers.
