I went to the Center for Family Medicine because I have been unable to get into a PCP and was under the impression that this was supposed to be a more affordable option for accessing care. My visit was nearly $300 — urgent care would have been cheaper. The primary reason for my appointment was to get referrals/orders for imaging. DECEPTIVE PRACTICES While Dr. Weber herself was very kind and attentive, the practice she works for is far from ethical when it comes to their billing tactics. I paid the price of a check up in full at the front desk - the price given over the phone was exactly what I paid and exactly what I signed off for.
