After 10 years of painfully dry eyes due to meibomian gland dysfunction, I finally decided to try the IPL gland treatment. Prior to treatment, my tears broke apart on my eyes in less than 1 second. After completing 6 treatments and using a prescription eye drop for 10 days, my follow-up showed my tears holding together for at least 6 seconds! I don't have to use lubricating eye drops at all anymore. I wish I would have taken the chance when it was first recommended 6 years ago.
