I spent a lot of time researching treatment programs. I ultimately chose Center For Discovery because I felt comfortable with the person I spoke to on the phone and because they had open spots available right away. My inner critic said "Why do they have open spots? Is no one going to this place?" The answer is that lots of people are going to this place! To anyone considering coming here for treatment - do it. The other reviews posted during COVID are not representative of how the facility is now (not to mention they have never put anyone into "quarantine," it's not even that kind of facility). It's not perfect, nothing is, but this program, the staff, and the others in program with me changed my life. But, it took time. Plus, there are tons of post program support. I was disappointed that I didn’t get to finish this program but was incredibly grateful for the time I spent here. I unfortunately needed a higher level of care than PHP but the month I was at this location was spent in kind and caring arms. My team truly wanted the best for me every single minute of being there (whether my ed liked it or not) and these clinicians immediately met me where I was at.
