Yes this place may have “helped” save my life. HOWEVER the staffing really doesn’t care about their patients unless it becomes a risk of hurting the company image and being a liability. Especially if you are 18 or older they could care less about what you do and how you keep yourself safe. I was surprised to see so many negative reviews. my daughter just completed 4 months there and I can say her experience was not only pleasant but successful as well. they treated my daughter with respect and never said anything negative to her. if I thought for one minute that they were not doing anything to help her or if anything dodgy was going on I would have pulled her out immediately. the addition of family night was a great idea because it gives the families a chance to see what their loved one does at program. ⚠️THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE. DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT SENDING YOUR CHILD HERE!!! THIS PLACE IS ABUSIVE. The director of this treatment center called my food choices crazy. The therapist told me my body type. They leave a scale out all the time for anyone to step on. Not at all an appropriate setting for an eating disorder facility. I would give this establishment 0 stars if possible. I visited for an interview regarding intake and was berated and humiliated for my weight. I was then redirected to their residential treatment center in Fairfield, Connecticut because I was "too advanced" for their treatment (that center was no better.) One of the most invalidating experiences of my life. Places like this make people not want to seek treatment. Do NOT go here. I hope the employee who interviewed me is fired.
