I've been at Center for Discovery in Maitland since I left residential at Monteverde and it has been a wonderful experience overall. I've received so much support from all of the therapists, dietitians, diet techs, etc. They take time out of their day to talk to you if you're struggling and the care is really personalized, they take a lot of time getting to know you even if you aren't their primary client. The staff has gone above and beyond to give me and my peers so much support.
Center for Discovery PHP in Maitland, FL medically neglected me and traumatized me. I came to CFD after stepping down from residential at Alsana which I was clearly not ready to step down from. When I got to PHP I was barley eating and they didn’t really know what to do with me. After my first week my therapist, Brittany said I had to get a tube or be discharged. I asked her how long I would need the tube for and she said “forever if you need it” A few weeks later I was sent in an Uber by myself 2 hours away to the emergency... read more
