I was admitted to Center For Discovery at the end of July and was there up until a few weeks ago. The staff was very kind and often made me things easier for me in the house. I liked my therapist and dietian. The facility is actually a house which makes things more comfortable then previous places I've been. I honestly only have three issues with the whole experience. Center for discovery saved my life. The bad reviews scared me at first and I was nervous to go. Once I got there I found a place where I felt understood and seen. The first time I went I did not take it seriously. I’m happy I got the chance for them to help me again. One thing people don’t understand is treatment is not magic, you have to put in the work too. When our daughter was admitted to the Center For Discovery, Cypress Tx., her body and mind were not in a good place. Of course, at first she was resistant, but after a few weeks we started noticing big changes. Dr. Rana, her psychiatrist, made some changes to her meds. Miss Ashleigh her therapist worked constantly with her and kept in constant contact with us. if i could give negative stars id give a million. These people don’t treat patients as humans! made fun of my friend time after time and treated her not like a human. you go to these please because you’re seeking help. not to think you’re going to get it and get the complete opposite
