I just left CFD lakewood for the second time three and a half weeks ago. I had a great experience both times being there but especially this time!! At first when i found out i had to come back i was scared, I was scared to disappoint sean because he was my therapist last time. When i came back i found out Jeanne was my therapist, at first i wasnt happy because Sean was my first good therapist so i was scared. However i am thankful for them both!! When I stayed there the therapists, dietitian and most of the staff were great and made it for sure one of the better places to stay at I just really don’t agree with the amount I had to eat and amount of weight I was essentially forced to gain if I didn’t want repercussions (hospital) also some of the things they made me eat just put me through unnecessary stress….but that’s really how it is with these places and I can’t say I agree with it but they do what they have to for there jobs and I respect these people a lot. Hi! Its LR/Lu. This place has helped me tremendously. I never thought I would actually be where I am today. I never saw a chance at recovery, I never saw me getting better. Yet, here I am. Everyday I miss the staff and patients I was fortunately able to meet. Besides Jeanne (you already got a big letter),,,,Dolly, Sean, and Megatron helped me so much. Whether they know it or not.
