We drove hours to this place for our son to be seen. It was an awful experience. The place itself is very unwelcoming. They put us back in a very small room with a physician to observe him and ask questions. It was so uncomfortable and horrible care. Do not waste your time here, there are other options to explore for your family.
Only reason I have one star is because I can’t give 0 stars. Trying to get my 7 year old tested for dyslexia. Appt scheduled for March was canceled due to provider having family emergency. Rescheduled for June 4th, 8:30am. Live in Des Moines so rented hotel night before to avoid having to leave at 6am. Received voicemail on Monday stating provider will not be in and they need to cancel appt and they will call the next day to get ahold of me to reschedule (I work nights so didn’t see it), but never received phone call, receiv... read more
I feel like they didn't listen to us. The got to see the best sides of our son and told us he's basically delayed and he needs better parenting. Someone could come to our house and show us how to handle his meltdowns. Mind you, we have 7 children!!! I know how to handle a regular child. Mine needed help and because he makes eye contact, we didn't get help. Not going back.
The staff at the Dentistry Clinic at the CDD are exceptional. They're friendly, professional, flexible, and patient with their clients. My 13-year-old, who is autistic, loves her dental visits!
