I cannot speak on Josh’s abilities as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, but the other one, Kristen Moen, lacks compassion, knowledge, and even basic respect as a practitioner. For disclosure: I only had the initial intake appointment with her, however it was enough for me to not want to be a patient of hers ever again. Josh provides compassionate, helpful, and careful psychiatry as well as therapy. As a woman with childhood and adult trauma, I had previously been unable to find treatment for 25 years (since age 3) due to my odd presentation and traumatic material that was too much for previous practitioners. I do not recommend this practitioner for adult women with childhood trauma.
My favorite part of this company is Josh's motto, "first responders first." I had been actively trying to find a therapist/counselor/someone to speak too but nobody had availability. Josh's motto/mission statement allowed me to get in right away and he has been great to work with. I would highly recommend him to anyone and actively recommend him to my co-workers.
