Follow up to their response. We had a hard year and I was not able to afford the fee to see them so because it's been over a year instead of my fee that I could afford they bumped it up to $500. That is why I'm saying they're not compassionate if they could bring it back down to my original fee it wouldn't be that big of an issue. And I was told I would be seeing a PA not Dr. Saperstein. This is a scam. Dont bother. After telling me my case was accepted but before i could get them my medical records, they texted back that they couldnt take my case. This is no way to treat vulnerable patients. Trust was violated and harm was done.
The doctor was able to help me get diagnosed with a rheumatologist which kickstarted my journey into feeling better. Had it not been for him I am not sure if or how I would have been able to find help. He also helped rule out other potential issues and did many comprehensive exams. I am very grateful for him and Jaime Kozak, PA-C for their help and guidance. The help is worth the price.
Worth the cost - A doctor who KNOWS what is going on, has testing to get helpful answers, and a kind hearted staff. I have been disregarded for years now. I have POTs, hEDS, MCAS, a Chiari Malformation, and Craniocervical Instability. My hEDS and MCAS were diagnosed IN HIS OFFICE. He was extremely meticulous, thoughtful, and now we are doing so many tests to help us figure out the full picture. He is an incredible specialist and well worth the cost.
