In early August I went in to have my periodic 5-year colonoscopy at AdventHealth. Dr. Maryam Kashi found a 5cm. cancerous mass in my colon. She immediately sent a biopsy of the mass to the lab, ordered CT scans of my abdomen, pelvis, and chest, and referred me to Dr. Matthew Albert, a colon and rectal surgeon in the same facility.
