My son was misdiagnosed to begin with. I needed a confirmation of diagnosis to obtain more assistance and was told that the doctor isn’t required to fill that out. They assume because we are hispanic that we don’t deserve the assistance. I’m sick and tired of ignorant people. I’m born in NY and my family is Puerto Rican which is an island that belongs to the U.S. I know my rights so don’t tread on me. They treat us like some foreigners. I’m disgusted with the unprofessionalism. Enough is enough!!!
I WISH I could give a half a star. I took my anxiety ridden, nervous, shy, adhd son in for a psych eval and Dr.Miller was absolutely the rudest and meanest I have ever seen a "professional" be! I have NEVER heard someone in a professional position speak to a child the way she did. It was so bad we got up and walked out of the appointment because I was not about to let her sit and mock or degrade my son. Absolute worst experience ever. I've had issues where my contact info was not at all correct, but Christina Russel fixed it when I brought it up. I've seen some bad reviews for this place, but I can say with confidence that Christina cares and has been nothing short of amazing for me.
I made an appt in October for their next availability which was late November. Never occurred, scheduling messed up "they guess". Had my first appt in Dec., next availability was mid Jan. Well, no call. I contact them. The very unethusiastic reception picks up. I ask about my appt. "O, it's been cancelled. That therapist is on leave." Why wasn't I contacted, I inquired. "I don't know ". I cancelled the rest of my appts.
