Have been bring my dogs here for years. Up until this last visit. Very disappointed not knowledgeable about what was going on with my animals. Was told different information both times. After being there 2.5 hrs for just a heart worm test was told the charges which were incorrect and then was deliver the wrong medication. Not only that but completely wrong medication. Left called again sounded like she didn’t know what she was talking about and alerted me they didn’t carry my medication anymore but would’ve been nice to know... read more

I made an appt with CFAH because my vet of 20 years was booked solid 3 weeks out and my dog had an issue that needed to be addressed. All I can say is WOW - what amazing care they gave! I'll be switching over to them permanently based on the outstanding customer service they provided. Great techs. Thorough exam. Dr explained everything in detail. Lower than expected fees. I cannot praise them enough. They are the gold - no, platinum - standard in veterinary care. Thank you!
Dr. David Visser is a great vet and both he and Karen became animal doctors out of love for animals.
Dr. Karen has been so compassionate, understanding and calming with our Hazel. Over the past 16 hours we have been helping Hazel get through a very Scary time. Hazel woke yesterday morning with tremors and advanced to a moderate seizure. Even with curbside communication only; we were kept updated every few minutes during the scary times yesterday;and Hazel is able to eat and drink today with some residual tremors. They have made time to see our animals during this uncertain time and they’re very quick to get you answers. Much better than our last vet. We have 6 cats and have had minor problems that needed attention and they don’t push things if you can’t afford them. But they have the utmost concern for your pets.
We recently adopted a second dog and took that opportunity to try out a new vet. My husband & I cannot say enough about how GREAT Center for Animal Health and Dr. Visser has been to us and our JoJo. We adopted a 10 year old dog who has had a few hiccups and CFAH has taken so much time to help us through this transition. We plan to start our other dog there upon his next check up. Thank you Dr Karen Visser and staff for the compassion and caring you showed me on Monday as I had to make the most difficult decision of my life to let Comet pass with dignity. My heart is broken, but I’m sure Comet pranced his way over the rainbow 🌈 bridge.
Our Cane Corso had a bowel obstruction, they preformed the life saving surgery she needed. They started the surgery just after they were supposed to go home for the day and stayed for several hours removing the blockage. They are kind and compassionate. They went above and beyond to accommodate our special circumstances, all with a smile on their faces and kindness in their voices. We appreciate them so much and recommend them to anyone!
