My last mammogram did NOT hurt like this one did. The lady that did mine (Erica) I even let her know my left breast was very tender and she just said "awwww" in a snarky way and went ahead with the testing. I told her during the entire test for each breast how uncomfortable it was and how painful and not once did she address it or try and make me more comfortable with adjustments, etc. I won't be back here for my breast exam!!
Doctors are knogable and take the time to explaining your illness's
Healthcare as it should be! I had a routine mammogram on Monday and was called back on Wednesday to have more extensive imaging. They were able to offer an appt that same day and after the additional imaging I was able to talk with the radiologist Dr McFarland to get news of clear results. This prevented worry over the holidays! Everyone at the center was so kind and caring. This is EXACTLY why I am at BJC! Kudos for your excellent care!!!!
The atmosphere is very calm and professional (also has a great view of the Arch) The employees are professional and efficient during a stressful time. Would I utilize this place again? Yes - I was there nine years ago and now again. Breast issues are low on our to do list, but this place makes it easy to pay attention to our health.
