Can’t say enough about this school and staff. Just a great place for kids to learn without judgement and there is no one better than Mr. Stone.
Center Academy is where my son thrived academically and emotionally. The staff are wonderful and passionate about the work they do. The teaching methods and two teachers in one classroom helped my son perform at grade level. I can’t say enough great things about this school and the environment. It’s been a great experience.
My youngest son graduates this year, he has been at Center Academy since he got out of elementary school. The staff at the academy are amazing, I don't know where my youngest son would be if I hadn't found Center Academy, he had alot of issues and they worked with us and he totally turned around his last 2 years. He had a little bump during the beginning of the pandemic but because he was so far ahead he was able to pull it out. I'm so thankful for Center Academy in Riverview. My son who has Asperger's was being bullied in public school. He was also doing poorly academically. The first time that we went to visit Center Academy, my son refused to get out of the car but Mr. Stone, the Director, personally came out to encourage my son to get out of the car. That was the beginning of 7th grade. Center Academy has been a wonderful experience for my son. He is a senior this year and their personalized attention has really set him up for success. Being a small school, they could not offer as many classes as a public school but with dual enrollment, he earned many college credits along with fulfilling his high school requirements - which is even better!!!
