Letting only selected groups of people walk pass during storm hours, Waited outside for an hour while people entered to "say hi" to their friends which is what we where refused and denied access too shout out to the lady at the front desk
Very clean facility. Swimming pool is huge with a sandy beach. Half of the pool is up to 4ft than it goes down to 15ft. For individuals wanting to go on the 15ft or on the diving boards, they have to pass a pretty strict freestyle swim test. The place offers adirondeck chairs on the lawn. The concessions have a pretty good menu, really good ice cream. The washrooms are clean and easily accessible. The staff is friendly. There is a skate park around the corner.
The “Beach” is a nice area for children to play and have fun although I feel like the photos are a bit deceptive & it’s not a super big area very small to be classified as a beach, the life life vest are out dated and could use a proper wash. also if your going to charge based on residency to not only accept verbal okays that you are a resident and then single out black families to provide proof of residency while allowing white family’s verbal okays clear sign of discrimination and I don’t like that! Will never be coming back here!!!! My partner was accused of smoking weed by security. They claimed that multiple life guards and staff saw him smoking , and also smelled it. My partner does NOT smoke weed or anything else!!!! I was in the water at the time this happened . My partner told security he does not smoke and neither do I. He asked them if they were sure they had the right people. They told him they were going to get management to come search our belongings. Which he encouraged them to do!!
