One of the most dishonest & fraudulent hospital systems, regarding billing. We were beyond hesitant to send our son to PT & OT @ Milestones because they are owned by Centegra. “What can go wrong since we have a $50 co-pay for outpatient OT, PT & Speech therapy” (I’ve used the PT benefit - $50 co-pay - over 25x in 2019 alone; our son used it 30-40x last year). My son, a seven year old with Autism Spectrum Disorder, has been receiving OT services from Milestones for just under a year. On Monday, I walked out of the bathroom because I heard him calling me. When I walked up to the front desk, Sakina, the “manager,” was squeezing his cheeks hard and she had her face in his face, and she was raising her voice at him. I had the exact same experience as the gentleman below with the transition of Milestones to Centegra. We had been going to Milestones for over 5 years and were one of several families told by the previous owner that there would be no changes with the transaction. That could not be farther from the truth. Centegra bills as a hospital visit for therapy. Previous ownership billed as an office visit quadrupling our bills. The therapist was great. The back off didn't have their stuff together. Was not informed that I had a certain amount of time before my insurance benefits ran out. So not happy I have a huge amount of money I have to pay out of pocket.
