Dr. Tello is on another level. He is extremely knowledgeable and has an incredible clinical eye. In addition, he is extraordinarily polite and makes patients feel truly comfortable. Dr. Celso Tello has been my ophthalmologist for more than 20 years. He is a highly competent physician and surgeon. Dr. Tello has saved my vision and I trust him implicitly. He has a wonderful personality and bedside manner which is rarely seen in the medical field. I highly recommend him.
I am the patient of Dr Tello for 19 years. I think that he is the best eye Dr and eye surgeon of New York. I have glaucoma and went through a few glaucoma surgeries and two cataract surgeries. He is a savior. I would love to thank him on this website Anna
Nightmare. I specifically asked him about the side effects of a specific medication and he said "never seen any." So I used the medication and it left me permanently disfigured. I went back to him to let him know so that he never did this to anyone else and he he acknowledged during the course of the conversation that he had seen the very adverse effects I had originally asked him about. Should lose his medical license. Avoid.
