About as Italian as Chef Boyardee
We came here when Cellar 36 first opened a few months ago. The experience the second time around was a a big difference than the first time. The food is absolutely phenomenal! We got the meatballs as an appetizer and highly recommend getting them to start your meal. The pasta (both gluten free and regular) was cooked perfectly, too. Excited to come back again and see what their new seasonal menu has!
Absolute hidden gem. All grandma’s recipes. The food and wine are excellent. And the service could not be better. We love supporting a family-owned restaurant. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area.
A lot of rave over this place so we decided to try it. It was the last day of the summer menu so disappointedly there was no "Sunday Supper", but we understood.. kinda. The Fonduta was a nice starter. The entree portions are plenty big . The Rigatoni Bolognese was delicious, probably could use a little more sauce but maybe not...we loved the sauce . We came here last night after a long day of our wedding. We were exhausted to say the least and we wanted something homey and nice, but not all upscale-expensive type. This definitely hit the spot! The food was really good and had that 'my grandma made this for me' vibe (in the outmost positive way)!
