Dr. Mahmood is so kind and patient. She makes our girls feel like they have voices in their medical care.
The WORST. Scheduled an appointment months ago. They cancelled. Rescheduled for several weeks later. They cancelled again. Rescheduled with a new doctor. We had one request: a female doctor because the appointment was for our daughters. They booked it. We checked out the doctor online: It's a man. Called again, got the run-around. Dr. Maghen has a great bedside manner. He is not reactionary and genuinely cares about his patients. Even when my baby was screaming while he tried to look into his mouth, this didn’t phase Dr. Maghen. He is willing to answer any questions and remembers details of our most recent visit, and he doesn’t seem to be in a rush. He patiently listens.
Overall I’ve been extremely unimpressed with the care we’ve received at cedars. We’ve had many distressing interactions, however I will highlight our most recent - an appointment that took weeks of calling, waiting and cancellations regarding a possible infection. Since our primary pediatrician never seems to be available we were placed in the “care” of Dr Brown.
