I was a tenant of Amherst Town homes LLC. We recently bought a home. When Cedarland bought these properties they communicated, very well, super kind and willing to work with long term tenants. Byran Jackson was extremely helpful right from the beginning. Update: High Electricity Bills I am used to a $30-$40 electricity bill and maybe a gas bill that at its highest in the winter is ~$60 for a one bedroom apt., and while the utilities here are all electric I did not expect this type of expense. My electricity bill here, for a studio apt., for the month of January (01/02/2025 - 02/04/2025) was $314.41. For the bill period of (02/04/2025 - 03/05/2025) I shut my heating off from 2/14-03/05 (19 of 30 days) except on 3 occasions(not full days) and started using less hot water. The ... read more

So far, I have had a great experience with Cedarland development the Eckhart Apartments. I went through a lottery to get into the apartment. I handed my application in with all my paperwork and about two weeks later I was called And told that I had won! I'm coming up on my first month here and they were super helpful with getting me signed and moved in. I had a leak, potentially with my heater, and someone came for the leak, which was deemed urgent, the next morning. They were also super helpful and responsive when I locked myself out(doors auto lock) on a Sunday. I'll be sure to update my experience later in the year.
