I really enjoy this gym and all of the amenities it offers, but I do have one major complaint: it's consistently far too hot inside, no matter the time of year. I often struggle to make it through even 20 minutes of my workout before I have to stop because of the heat. During exercise, our body temperatures naturally rise, so when the gym is already uncomfortably warm upon arrival, it's difficult to have a productive workout. I was member of the old Cedardale before the fire and that place was something else. Just had a distinct vibe, community and quiet charm to it. The building design was unique with a sort of retro feel it. Hidden staircases, yoga studio that resembled tree houses. I can still remember when Cedardale was considered to be one of best health clubs in country. This new incarnation of Cedardale is not bad. I’ve been going to this gym for about a year and a half now, so I feel like I can finally write a review that truly reflects my experience. I absolutely love this gym! It honestly reminds me a lot of Lifetime, but with a much more relaxed atmosphere and without the huge price tag.
