First timers ordered to go the brisket was dry and they forgot the peach cobbler... and I gave the bitch a tip... wouldn’t recommend it...
Very unhappy with this place. I guess they forgot about customer service. This has been my families go-to spot for over 10 years. My daughter was having her birthday right around the corner at the 8-bit arcade so we thought we would get BBQ for the parents. After spending $130 on food, they would not give me forks to eat with. They charged me a ridiculous markup of 10¢ per fork just so my guests could eat THEIR Mac and cheese. When I dine in, I get utensils, why was this different? What's a vegetarian doing giving 5 stars to a smokehouse, lol? Because what I do eat there is delicious, the carnivores in my household rave, the atmosphere is fun and the service is fast and genuinely hospitable. We were in today and my daughter wanted mac & cheese. They only had enough left made for the time for one serving and they gave it to her for free. Also discovered they sell fresh dog bones -- good size, with some meat -- for 4/$1. Keep it up!
Had a gift card from a vendor, when we tried to used it the cashier refused to take it. "I don't know how to take those", didn't apologize until it came down to us deciding to leave then she said "sorry". The lady in front of use had her and her daughter, ordered then when she gave the cashier a $100 bill, "I don't have change for that. Poor lady went around asking other patrons if they had change for a $100. After the cashier saw she wasn't going to leave the cashier opened the other till and made change for her. The food was good but the service not so much. Told the girl taking our order beef brisket and she would repeat back beef ribs told her 3 time's thought she had it right, then when we got our order it was beef ribs. Ordered 2 beer's that didn't get brought out with our order had to ask twice seemed like an inconvenience to them.
The food and service was great! We went with a group of 11 and the service was fast and helpful! We will return again!
