Today we had a scheduled appointment at 4:30 p.m. with the manager to view new apartment. We also received a confirmation text message earlier today. However, when we arrived at the scheduled time, nobody met us and the office was closed. We knocked and waited for about 20 minutes, but it remained closed.
We applied for an apartment and was ultimately denied after paying the non-refundable $50 application and refundable $300 security deposit. We have been trying to get in touch with the property for 3 weeks now via phone calls, texts, emails, and contact forms and have heard NOTHING back. Not only are we unable to discuss the application with anyone, we have also not been refunded the $300.
I can’t express how much I appreciate Haily’s help. She was incredibly patient and helpful throughout the whole process. The apartment looks amazing—so clean and well maintained. I’m truly happy we found this place and can now call it our home.
After scheduling an appointment to tour the property, confirming that appointment 3 times, and driving for 3 1/2 hours to get to this property, we were met with a locked door and no one there. Even though the hours clearly stated they were open. It seems the property manager was more interested in going home early on a Friday than keeping an appointment that was made several weeks in advance. Definitely speaks to the character of the person running the property.
We applied for an apartment at Lakeview at Newcastle and paid a $50 application fee (non-refundable) and a $300 administrative fee. Our application was conditionally approved but ultimately denied due to a guarantor rejection. Throughout the process, the leasing office staff was very kind and helpful, and we truly appreciate their courtesy.
