I lived at 1617 apt 1D in 1976 to 1978, we had a 4 bedroom apartment and although I was 10 when we moved there I made a lot of friends and we had fun exploring the woods behind the apartments. I don't remember a play ground. Would love to go back and see the place. Looking back and comparing what low income looks like today, I can see a resemblance. I live in Southern Florida now, so I doubt I'll make it back to Virginia anytime soon. My friends I hung with were Jamie Kent and Ellen Knight
