The halls dont smell like piss..ugh I know this because I am here for physical therapy. The staff is professional, smile and acknowledge you. The food isnt the best, we do have good and bad days. I cant say enough about the staff. Laundry is GREAT...Housekeeping is great...The Administrator knows what shes doing.

This place is a joke. If you want your loved one to die fast, send them here because they will decline very quickly. State will do nothing about it and CRM will cover their butts. The company that owns it couldnt care less about the employees or the residents,only the money they can bring in. I think they need to shut this place down and place the residents in a NICE facility where they are taken care of.
I have visited over at this place and when u walk in it smells like pee. I always see residents with soiled pants. they dont take good care of them and the nursing always sit around and let the CNAs do everything. they are way under staff, State wont hlep.. the union could care less. When a resident or CNA needs a nurse it take for ever for the nurse to get to them.. June 1, 2011 Cedar Ridge Manor went under new adminstration. Since June 2011 our residents are clean and dry. The facility and residents are free of odors. We have a new Social Worker, Business Office Manager, Director Of Nursing, Dietary and Activity Managers, as well as, a caring and compassionate nursing staff. We have an excellent wound care program. The food is outstanding made from scratch. I want to invite you to come have lunch with us and see Cedar Ridge Manor.
I would not let my dog stay at this facility. Their assessment skills are extremely lacking. A resident was admitted with a central line and supposed to get rehab during her stay. Upon admission the central line was not even mentioned. They hired an RN two weeks after this residents admission and upon her assessment she found the central line. NO ELSE IN THE FACILITY KNEW ANYTHING ABOUT IT, and no treatment was done the entire time. Good nursing care HUH? NOT!

its a great place to work for and caring for the elderly is very rewarding. a great place for young kids to visit. the older people love to see the kids.
