It blows my mind that if you don’t have proper insurance you’re left to rot in your quickly deteriorating mental health state. For profit companies like this should be REQUIRED by state mandate to give some sort of help in that situation or at the least direct them somewhere. What’s more important, a person life at risk or profiting off them?
I can't speak to their services, but their advertising and admissions reps are deceptive about the insurances they accept. Their website says they "work with" a whole host of insurances. When I called (twice) and asked if they were *in network* with my insurance they said they were. When I told the rep my insurance company said they weren't in-network, they finally admitted they're out-of-network but still willing to bill my insurance (I guess they assumed I had a plan with OON benefits). The caring professionals at Cedar Hill worked very hard to help my friend overcome her severe mental illness and substance abuse issues. . I was very impressed with their professionalism, and am happy to say that with their clinical and supportive intervention, she is now in a much better place, and her continued sobriety is helping her move forward in all the other aspects of her life.
I just wanted to share a fabulous experience with Cedar Hill and recommend them to anyone considering their services.
