It's been a long day for me and my dog. The staff here are the very best! I will share more after we rest.
After 5 1/2 days of boarding, we came to pick up our golden retriever, that is also a therapy dog, and she was covered in blistered hot spots all over her legs, chest, etc. She was treated by the doctor, but we never received a call before treatment was started and we never received a call to give us a heads up as to how bad she looked. We ended up taking her to her own vet and have had more expense to treat her skin infection. I'm unable to post pics, but they speak volumes. The medical term for hotspots is "Acute Moist Dermatitis", because they occur quickly, are wet, and cause inflammation of the skin. Learned about Dr. Peterson from my brother and sister-in-law. Dr. Peterson and everyone in this office is AMAZING! Our pups not only go there for check-ups, but doggy daycare and boarding when we need it. They are always so excited to go!
