I enjoyed my visit. My brother and I caught 7 channel catfish in a little over an hour. They process and clean the fish for you on site. It doesn't get much better than this for fresh fish.
I visited this place once, and it really caught my attention. I really liked the idea of fresh fish, so, i came. I came in and went inside the place where they skin the fish and etc.. When i got close to the fish pools, this random man yelled at me and asked me, “Why are you touching it?”. I got very confused and frightened. The staff should learn how to treat their costumers. We drove two hours to get here to this fish farm we were very excited to buy fish it is a Friday of Easter therefore we brought very good vibes. But they were destroyed immediately after my daughter approached the fish pool, the bald guy with a white beard insulted her and immediately came to us. I offered him an apology and told him that we drove two hours to get there and very upset he told us to leave his property and threw the fish waste at me. I had the worst experience in this place my husband, my daughters and I... it is a very nice place and it was even more beautiful if the owner treated his clients who visit him well, we drove 1 hour to get to the place, my daughters came to see the fish in the pools and shouted at them because they were there?? With a scary and traumatizing face for my girls, I came out of there very badly and in fear he is a very badly spoken guy, nothing justifies him treating badly and running his clients. Wonderful small farm for fresh fish, local goods, and family friendly fun. The bloody Mary mix available in shop was delicious. Plenty of other treats and snacks options available too. Great place for visiting family to fish without worrying about a license. Love the rustic charm and getting to look at the sweet farm animals while getting our fish cleaned. Will be back again and would highly recommend!
