Comportable Comfortable and clean, was good for a short stay. The location was great with a short walk from the main bus station and also a walking distance to the sea front, beaches and the old town. Staff were friendly.
Overall Experience The office staff is friendly and professional. They’ve been helpful with answering questions and handling administrative tasks. Maintenance requests are handled promptly.
SMELLY, RUDE STAFF, TRASHY This apartment was absolutely atrocious when I moved in. Vinyl bathroom floor peeling up, smelled of smoke, dirty carpet. I left when I was pregnant as soon as I found a better place to raise my son without a stench. They allow certain tenants to throw trash all over the parking lot with no repercussions. The maintenance does the bare minimum, and has an attitude when you ask them to actually fix an issue after having to come back multiple times since they won’t fix it the first time. Horrible Management horrible!! I lived there for a month before I was ready to move!! Ceilings leaked!! Management pops up at your home when you have company saying only a certain amount of people is allowed in your apartment at one time! If they see someone leaving your apartment they will stop them and ask them how long they been there and etc!! Maintenance is terrible!! The tub and sinks kept stopping up!! Please go someplace else!! Please to not attempt to rent an apartment at Cedar Cove Apts. I was a tenant there for 2 1/2 years. Over that course of time, I experienced bad customer service in communication, business, and maintenance. I had many maintenance issues... Refrigerator appliance stopped working over the MLK weekend. I was told that maintenance would NOT be able to get a refrigerator to my apt. until the next business day which was Tuesday. I did not have a refrigerator for two whole days. Ms. I have never seen an apartment complex's management staff so efficient. A very quiet, peaceful place to live.
Go somewhere else. Is there anything lower than one star for this place? Rude and unprofessional with NO formal listings in their leases of price breakdown OR lease break fees(a first, as every single place I've lived at before spells this out) and the most lackluster maintenance procedure I've ever seen in my life. Cedar Grove The apartment is alright. When I first came to check the apartment out, the manager showed me a model that was pristine. When I finally moved in, my apartment's A/C was broken, appliances were broken, and the apartment smelled like smoke. They are on top of their stuff though. Everything was fixed pretty quickly, except the smoke smell. I would say you get what you pay for, but I am paying well over what I paid to live in the District.
