Hard to give a rating because the food is always top notch but the service is generally mediocre but tonight it was terrible. And the bad part is we were her ONLYcustomer! Never checked on us, brought potatoes when my husband was almost finished with his meal, didn't ask if we wanted a refill on our drinks and was just plain rude. We watched her stand around the bar for 15 minutes AFTER we were finished eating and waiting to have our dishes picked up and get our bill. My experiences have always been very positive. The people are very friendly. The have amazing steaks and have been voted the best steakhouse in Cedar Rapids for the last 4 years. Everything that I have ever ate has been great. Highly recommended.
Ced-Rel is my favorite "special occasion" place. It's a locally owned supper club and the owners work very hard to make every meal great. The appetizer platter (which is free with the meals) is wonderful. I'd really like to try some more of the things on the menu, but when I'm going there, all I can think about is the filet and jumbo fried shrimp combo! Sure, once in a while the food isn't perfect or there's a hiccup in the service, but all I've had to do is say something and they work their butts off to make it right.
