If i could i would give this place a 0 star. I gave it a chance. Both my boys went. My son whos on medication he got his frist prescription the day of. He ran out of it FOR 2 WEEKS I HAVE CONTACTED them to send in the medicine. Still nothing has been done. I have been given the runaround and it is beyond ridiculous. If your child is on medicine DO NOT BRING THEM HERE. THIS PLACE IS B.S

Don't waste your time. They don't return calls, scheduling appointments is a mess and at the end of the day, they don't care about mental health. It's a paycheck for them.

This business needs to shut down!! Been with this entity since 2003 then 2018 very unhappy I suffer from depression & all three counties Cherokee, Etowah,DeKalb has one psychiatrist that you have to have a TV video session with her and give you meds that's not helping me...there's a few people that are staff workers medical professionals that I give my hats off to them!! So I went to another Healthcare clinic and they said that in order for me to be seen I gotta do tests in order to receive my meds🤬🤬🤬The devil is a lie!! ... read more

In my experience they do everything they can with limited funding. There actually is a lot of red tape when it comes to Medicaid, Medicare, the rights of an individual. It's a part of the Alabama Department of Mental Health. On Mondays they are available for any new intakes. There are three offices in each county - Cherokee, Etowah, DeKalb (C.E.D.) And, I believe Etowah would be the more convoluted of the three since Etowah has a much larger population than Cherokee and Dekalb. I imagine that when an emergency/crisis arises ... read more
