She is truly one of the most intelligent gynecologists I have ever met. Her talent and knowledge are unmatched—she even identified something in my placenta that none of the other MFM specialists had caught. She made me feel safe and well cared for every step of the way. I came here for an appointment with some concerns one month ago. Not sure how Dr. Avila pursued a career working with pregnant mothers. At my first appointment, I was very anxious with this being my first pregnancy and the way she presented herself was very unprofessional and not compassionate at all. I am giving her one star because that’s the absolute minimum needed in order to provide a review. If I could give her negative stars, I would. This was the absolute worst interaction I’ve ever had with a medical “professional” in my entire life. She was extremely rude and dismissive.
