I am very thankful for Dr. Avila. She talks fast, and with a thick accent, but everyone who works with her raves about her brilliance and knowledge. If you ask her to repeat something, she will. If you ask her for more information, she will give it. She seems rushed in the moment sometimes, but if you ask, she will definitely meet you where you are at and make you feel more comfortable. I came here for an appointment with some concerns one month ago. Not sure how Dr. Avila pursued a career working with pregnant mothers. At my first appointment, I was very anxious with this being my first pregnancy and the way she presented herself was very unprofessional and not compassionate at all. I am giving her one star because that’s the absolute minimum needed in order to provide a review. If I could give her negative stars, I would. This was the absolute worst interaction I’ve ever had with a medical “professional” in my entire life. She was extremely rude and dismissive. Guys before you review just know the doctors name isn't "cecila avila" That's just the name of the place...also don't repost like it's YOU this happened to.
Needs her license revoked and to learn some empathy. She should be ashamed for misrepresenting herself as an advocate for women's health.
