She talks over you the whole appointment and doesn’t give you a chance to speak until she is walking out the door. Wasn’t there for my delivery. She also doesn’t express much concern with anything that could be going on
This doctor held my uterus in her HAND and acknowledged in post op notes I had a supposed uterine defect. Never looked into it even though I brought up extreme pain every month. She suggested to take my left ovary without scans just because my pain was on my left side. I went to St. Vincent Women's Center in Carmel who CONFIRMED the defect with ONE MRI + ultrasound. Dr. Robrock in Carmel saved my life. Go there if you want REAL GENUINE care. Powless is a joke.
I just want to give a big shoutout to the nurses and doctors at Howard Community Maternity. Dr. Powless was phenomenal! My nurses Hailey and Erin made the entire process seem easy. While being in actual labor, all nurses and Dr. Powless were so positive and reassured me through the entire process. I never doubted my care team. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone currently pregnant or planning to get pregnant in the future.
